KEN JAMES received his MFA in Film and Media Arts at Temple University. He has worked in television in many capacities: scriptwriter for educational documentary productions, freelance producer for Maine PBS, producer of political advertising for environmentalist organizations, and manager of a public access station. He has taught screenwriting, fiction writing, film history, film aesthetics, and media studies at Colby College, the University of Southern Maine, and the Maine Media Workshops. Currently he is completing his Ph.D. in English at SUNY Buffalo, where he teaches film history.
