Year-Round workshops for girls and non-binary or female-identifying students.

Tech Art for Girls (est. 1999) is a community action project that provides affordable hands-on education in computers, technology, and media literacy for girls and non-binary or female-identifying young people from the city of Buffalo and Erie County, ages 11-15.

TAG began more than 20 years ago to provide young women access to computer arts to close the gender gap in computer and technology fields. Today we are still carrying on this effort to ensure we at Squeaky Wheel keep fighting the good fight to continue working to close this gap and provide a supportive and creative space for young makers to grow.
