Squeaky Wheel offers youth media arts education programs year-round through out-of-school, weekend, and summer workshops for middle and high school students. Scroll down to the program calendar to learn more and register for individual sessions.

Tech Arts For Youth 1 Week Summer Camps

July 13-August 7

Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm. TAY is open to youth entering grades 6-9. Join for half days, or bring a lunch and stay all day! Our instructors are all working artists and experienced educators who teach topics and skills that are related to their own art practice. $220/session, scholarships available.

 

Youth Film Lab 6 Week Summer Intensive

July 6-August 14

Monday-Friday, 12-4pm. For teens ages 13-19. Youth Film Lab is an intensive collaborative filmmaking program for teens. Work with your peers to write, direct, film, and edit a short film! Sliding scale fee, no one turned away for lack of funds.

 

Digital Art & Technology Access 2 Week Summer Session: TBD

DATA is for neurodivergent teens ages 13-19. More info about the 2 week Summer Session will be available in April. DATA is free for all participants.
DATA is made possible through a grant from The Children’s Guild Foundation.
