This family-friendly program curated by the staff at Squeaky Wheel showcases a range of animation styles, from traditional to experimental, and features award-winning filmmakers such as The Brothers McLeod, Daisy Jacobs, Atsushi Wada, and long-time experimental animator, Vince Collins. This years program takes place at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in conjunction with their current exhibition, Screen Play: Life in an Animated World–the first exhibition devoted exclusively to examining the work of contemporary artists who use the techniques, technologies, and tropes of animation as tools in their practice. The program is part of the museum’s First Friday activities, supported by M&T Bank. Admission to this event is free to the public and includes free admission to the museum exhibit. ///\///\ VISIT SQUEAKY.ORG FOR FULL LIST OF ANIMATED SHORTS ///\///\ Squeaky Wheel’s 12th Annual Animation Fest is generously supported by Villa Maria College and M&T Bank and in part by grants and awards received from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), City of Buffalo Cultural Funding, Erie County Arts & Cultural Funding.
