 FEBRUARY 2 - 23, 2012 /// EVERY THURSDAY NOON - 1 PM

** this series is being presented in cooperation with the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library **

Missed the Channels 2011 Premiere screening back in December? Here is another chance to see the four new local documentaries on the big screen! Bring your lunch and join us in the Ring of Knowledge at the downtown library at noon every Thursday this Febraury for a short video and discussion focused on significant issues impacting our communities here in Buffalo and Western New York. Each video will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker, the producing community group, or someone else closely involved with the topic of the documentary.

All the videos were made as part of Squeaky Wheel's Channels: Stories from the Niagara Frontier, a production initiative that matches local filmmakers with grassroots activists to document stories that significantly impact the WNY region, but are underreported by the mainstream media. Read more about the program and watch videos produced through the Channels program in the past HERE.
